Mainland B.C. Days 1 and 2

First morning on the mainland near Harrison Hot Springs. This Lake was next to our tent and was a great way to cool down at the end of our first day.

Harrison Lake looking northwest.

The original Hot Spring with the housing protecting people from the 140 degrees water.

The infamous Sasquatch, slightly suspicious of Calum and Zoe!

This landslide in 1969 displaced enough rock to cover 3km of highway up to 70m deep.

Californian ground squirrels greet us at Manning Provincial Park.

Heading up to visit the alpine meadows in Manning Provincial Park.

A Clark's Nutcracker keeping a beady eye on our movements.

Beautiful flowers and views!

The kids contemplating the long and windy path.

Looking west back towards they route we came.
