Mainland B.C. Day 3

After a morning panning for gold, visiting the museum and searching for fossils in Princeton we walked this 1km old railway tunnel. The shade and cool breeze really helped us to cool down!

As we head south and west the ground begins to dry out.

This unique lake is created by minerals left after evaporation.

The Okenagen is famous for its fruits. This orchard had plums, apples, peaches, apricots and cherries.

After reaching Osoyoos late in the day we had to move on a little further north to Oliver as all the campsites were full. This was Lake Tac El Nuit and was heavenly to swim in. Possibly the warmest lake in Canada!
