We've made really great friends that live near Duncan on Vancouver Island. Peter has welcomed us to use his house as our home while we are here in BC. So we are able to store half the stuff we packed that we don't need :0). His two teenage sons are great with the kids so they have big Canadian cousins. It has really helped us to have a base to travel out camping and wwoofing from.
We are looking forward to meeting up with them in a few weeks for a fishing and camping trip in Port Alberni.
